SURFBOARD SHAPING COURSE
The RIDERZ surfboard shaping and testing initiative aimed at helping veterans transition after service. It combines the therapeutic benefits of surfing with hands-on artistic experiences, providing veterans with personalised mentorship and skill-building workshops. Through this process, participants not only learn surfboard shaping but also build camaraderie, resilience, and community. The program promotes physical activity, creative expression, emotional well-being, and community support, offering a holistic approach to help veterans regain purpose, confidence, and vitality while learning new skills. Fully supported sessions enhance cognitive learning and foster community engagement among veterans.

Completed Surfboard: Each participant gets a clear skin surfboard (up to 9 ft), a set of fins, a leg rope, board cover and surf lessons.
